I am currently a High Performance Coach at the St. James. I work with athletes as young as 8 years in a variety of sports. I am responsible for leading the speed sessions on the turf and the strength potion in the weight room.
Prior to the St. James, I was a Graduate Assistant Sports Performance Coach at Catawba College while I earned my Masters in Sport Management. I was responsible for programming and leading the strength sessions for a variety of sports. These included Soccer, Lacrosse, Cross Country, Swimming, and Cheer. While I was there I was fortunate to work with 2 All-Americans, 8 Individual Conference Champions, 2 Relay Conference Champions, and 11 National Qualifiers.
Preceding my Master’s, I completed the Prestigious Exos Performance Internship. I completed my internship at Inova Sports Performance Powered by Exos. While I was there I assisted in the development of all their clients from the youth athletes to the Professional athletes and everyone in between. I also learned about the Exos curriculum and their training methods.
My journey in Sports Performance first began while I was studying for my Bachelors in Kinesiology. I started out as a Student Intern in the Sports Performance Department at Longwood. While I was there, I worked with all fourteen of their Division I teams and the Spirit Squad. There I would assist with the team and program for the Spirit Squad.
